  • Considering another Heli

Im thinking of taking the plunge into flybarless, I dont want to convert any of my current fleet but purchase another which will be flybarless from the off.

So what are peoples recommendations on heli choice and electronics? the heli has to be non Align as I want to try something different and has to be electric but nothing bigger than my 550

Most other heli's you buy are kit then you build with your own electronics & FBL head so have you got a size in mind.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.
      • Spektrum DX18 gen2, Phoenix Sims, Align MR25XP.
      • Blade Nano, mCP X, 130x, Blade 180, Mini T 450se

      • A helicopter is an aircraft that is lifted and propelled by one or more horizontal rotors because Wikipedia said so.

yes I understand this, which is why I also asked what electronics to use. I dont have a size in mind to be honest. Only know I dont want anything bigger than the 550 as I cant afford it.

nice choice Paul, have a soft spot for the logos. Not many people here seem to have the 400 though, is there a reason for this?

I can only go on what others at the field use those that have fbl apart from align heli's mostly have a 450 size with hitec 5065's & Mikita head & out of all I think it's got to be the Rave.

protos 450 FBL or Protos 500 FBL,

or maybe a beam E4 FBL!

with a BeastX Dogs Danglys in my opinion!

I've seen the logo 400 fly, with the v bar on and it is super sweet, looks superb, a couple of lads down the club have got them, not seen them on here for a while, but the logo looks awesome

Thought the 6hv was more a 600 size? Or am I a donut?

Not a donut at all. The 6HV does indeed swing 600 blades but the heli itself is very compact and I would say the same size as a 550, just with a massive disk
