Great project Jamie and working well, but one thing springs to mind...... if there's one thing that usually annoys people about helis, it's all the bleedin' smoke! And here you are trying to add smoke to a smoke-free power system.
It flys very very well, not anywhere near as sharp in the stops as my N9 obviously, but seriously powerful and fast through the air. The machine now must have a couple of hundred of flights and is running really nicely now.
As for flying it that way; absolute confidence in the machine, the build and the reliability of it Cost wise? Got to be heading for £7k new. The smoke system was quite a bit of work, but a lot of fun in flight, and smells really nice! Hopefully we will have it at Charmouth in the spring
Thats the thing, my flying ability is obviously no where near your level so maybe if I could fly like that maybe I would have more confidence flying others machine.
