I'm fine most of the time until I know someone is watching, then my thumbs start to shake. So much so that on hurricanes you can see the tail twitch. Quite funny really, I call it the inverted nervous hurricane.

OK yeah that's another thing I get. A shaky left thumb But only my left thumb, and only when I apply left rudder My right thumb doesn't seem to be affected at all. Weird!
Wonder if its because I've only got half a brain

Expo on cyclic and not rudder pushing stretch muscle pulling pulls and feeds the shakemonster quite logical

I done a couple of cracking hurricanes and piroflips but it gets harder and harder to get the auto crack

Sim will not remove shakes. The "Latin" expression for wobbly knees and shakey fingers is pucker factor. The bigger the heli the more towards the limit, budget panic and fear for your life builds in your brain. Just get sticktime and the first couple of crashes and you'll stop

I am not to bad with wk's on the 450 (unless it's a near crash) but get the 500 out and it's like my knees have a mind of there own even walking up to flight line , it's more like a breakdance routine.

I only tend to get wobbly knees when I'm trying something new, but I do seem to get wobbly thumb more frequently, which is really offputting when I've got the 700 in the air

Getting the shakes is quite normal as you progress mate.

Just wait until you start doing comps in front of judges and spectators.

You will know what nerves really are..

                    You are absolutely right.
I fly F3A aerobatic competitions for ten years now.
                    Every year the same game.
Training training training and perfect flying.
In front of the judges the brain get switched off and it seems you haven't had sticks in hand before.
