Yes Paul, FBL setup hard pitch pumping.

Align 610 servo's with locking screw hard tight.

First was the elevator, second was the Aileron servo on the right hand side of the heli.

Never had a problem since changing to alloy wheels.

      fbl explains it i guess.

FYI all our servos are jr 8915's i believe, mines/matts are 100% so different splines.

i'm using align wheels on my vel 90 and vel 90 fbl atm. i won't use alloy wheels myself-if need be i'll goto HD JR wheels.

      cheers

I use the Futaba plastic horns,i have seen the Align plastic splines fail and wont use metal horns fullstop.

          The 700LE is a great machine,build it,fly it,enjoy it.

You can, But I would use either a header tank or a fuel magnet

              I wish I never left.

Header tanks are only like ten quid and take a couple minutes to fit on the heli so no reason not to really.

Now lets see those build pics

But seriously for a sec Waz, do you have a place to fly it? Do you have insurance? How about starter, fuel pump, glo starter and stuff like that?
From the history of your previous posts my humble suggestion is you really need to find a club to fly at where you can get some help with this stuff. I kinda shudder to think of someone out in a field behind Tescos on their own with a 700 and a severe lack of experience.

If you really and truly want a nitro heli and are really ready to buy one, like soon, for real I think a 50 would be a far better choice considering the jump up from a 450 is massive aready. But I suspect I'm talking to myself here

Lol thanks looks like you know me pretty well and I must admit I have improved . I bought the kit 700 combo today of aligntrex with starter and everything required to get it up in air. Don't worry I am going to fly in a designated flying area and I have bmfa ons. And yes I might aswell get the header tank.
I'm not gonna use gov coz I have a dx6i and ar6200 but when I upgrade my tx I will put the gov on.
                  Cheers bud

It might be worth fitting the govenor sensor/bracket and not connecting it, as it fits to the inside of the frame and is a bit of a nightmare to fit after.

Yep no need for a Gov at the mo unless you plan to 3D it. Even then there are alot of really good pilots out there that don't use them.

From my experience for a stock LE strip the tail hub completely. Give it a good clean to get all the loctite out of the hub. Mine was filled to the brim with the stuff. Change the bolts, grease it all up and put it back together withloctite used sparingly in the hub and not on the bolts.

The clutch / starter shaft bearing block is made of plastic. If you sand one side just a little it will grip the bearings better. The other thing is on assembly the bearings need to be stuck in with something like shoe goo. If the bearing can't turn then the plastic can't wear.

I think it is the best model Align have released for out of the box performance.
