and ditch the alloy servo wheels, they are servo eaters, total waste of money and will cost u more in a crash, use the standard align servo wheels, the work fine

My Le kit is 10 months old and seen around 60 flights and not sheered it's tail yet. Only thing that's gone since having it is the clutch and that was only 2 weeks ago

Until the splines strip like mine has done twice already.

I'll stick to the Quick UK alloy ones thanks.

Thing is tho Tim,if the plastic doesnt strip the damage 'can' go to the servo

You are correct but there are two ways to look at this Nick.

1: Plastic Align servo wheel splines "Do" strip in flight which mine has done twice. Not your fault but your heli crashes. Result...Not good and severely peed off.!!

2: You actually crash your own heli via dumb thumbs or whatever using alloy servo wheels and risk the servo gears stripping adding to the repair bill.

I'll stick with option two mate..

I swapped the tail hub bolts out for high tensile one's from model fixings. Never had one go, but after seeing a few failures on here I thought it would be worth doing, just in case my tail had been put together by someone at the factory having a bad day!!

Other than a boom support brace, all three of 700's are standard. Great machines.
                    Cheers,
                    Simon

Now i did not know that

                      Valid point then mate

My 700 came with this as an add on and gives you the chance to have the main gear mesh as you like it

Yes one of my 700's has that modification fitted too for the main gear meshing.

Can't say I'd buy a second one though.

tim-did you strip these wheels with fbl?

me, stu and matt g have been using align std wheels for a long long time and never done that-all with flybars.

                                cheers
