Ages ago I bought a Trex 250.
Luvverly little machine that I quickly realised was way beyond my tyro capabilities.
Many moons pass......MCX,mSR and SR120 all help to firstly fuel what has become an addiction and secondly help to move me along the path to being a competent pilot.
Anyway to cut a long story short after bashing Phoeinix I decided to try the 250.
Training balls on (in more ways than one) I attempted to become airborne.
Blow me down I managed a decent hover.
Had a couple of hardish landings but all AOK.
Two more batteries hovering my little heart out....deepjoy deepjoy.........then....on batt 4.....HORRORS......the rotor disk just seemed to collapse.
Killed throttle ASAP and went to inspect my poor little heli.
Suffice to say it will be visiting Eckman down at Hoverfly for Heli-Doctorial ministrations.
Gutted tho' I am by the failiure I felt great with the half decent hover
