Slight Problem with Fast lads order

Maybe im asking to much but why pay for fast shipping and pay via fast payment and wait?

I think there has been a problem with your order Steve, As much as I support the guy's at Fastlads there is something that has not processed your order completely.

Take Ross up on his offer and shoot him a PM.

As per their website email Jamie is away hence the other guys there may not be able to access their bank account to see the funds have arrived safely and then despatch your order, I bet the the guys who received their orders as normal paid by credit card and they will see that these have been paid hence be able to despatch the order.

Just a possibility it's very unusual for such a delay from them in my experience.

With a bank transfer they don't get an automatic message saying they got the money - they have to log into the bank to see it. With a credit card, or paypal they get the payment confirmation automatically.
so you have to follow up your bank transfer with a phone call to get your order out same day, or it waits until they have time or reason to check the bank.
some day the banks will start sending automatic emails when the account receives funds, but I guess they are making money off the credit card charges instead.

Good point but they shouldnt be offering this way of payment if there is no one there to deal with the bank account and confirm orders,

But please guys dont think im slating them as iv used fast lads for pretty much all my orders just thought it was strange why my order is taking longer than normal

From experience, we all get slightly frustrated when fast lads **** up for one reason or other, and then post here while there actually fixing the issue! Its just unfortunate there so consistent and fast we all seem to take them for granted.

I bought an engine and pipe on monday, it was packed with incorrect shims, a call to them and a new shim was on my doormat the morning after free of charge.

Ive only done one bacs order, and i had to chase that up as there was no record of the order there end three days later, so i just wont do that again!

Ross is sound, IIRC he saved me from crashing my first 500 after its first rebuild while checking over my cockups at the feild

Ive recently noticed website order to delivery hasnt been so good recenty.....but I know they have been having "postal issues" beyond thier control.....but its being "delt with".....

I to have always done mine via bank transfer and never had a problem this is first time, its not a postal issue as its still stating "processing" its not even been picked or posted

Its a ploy to make you angry and 'pay them a visit'. In reality when you get there they will subconsiously force you to open your wallet and spend twice as much by hypnotising you with sweet heli parts... theres a whole rack of 600n upgrades to buy... glass cabinets full of servos n gyros n engines.... :P

I've got to say I have placed numerous orders with them, both on line and over the phone. If the order is placed early enough the bits are usually pushed through my door the next day. I think you really need to give them a call.

This is not targeted at the OP!

It's easy for folk to sometimes not consider all the things that have to happen in a successful succession for that order to get to its delivery point within 24hours and the majority are not even anything the vendor can control. The vendor is often at mercy of other services just the way the guy placing the order is. No one selling products wants there valued customer's to be disappointed in any way sometimes things conspire to go against that, sometimes yes a vendor "could" of done more in the eyes of a buyer but that doesn't mean there service is tardy or they don't care.
When dealing with high order volumes there can be issues the vendors aren't even aware of, making them aware then judging the services would be a more appropriate approach.

Ok I managed to get a call to fast lads and spoke to alan all sorted and should all be with me tomorrow.

As I said many times on this post I'm not slating fast lads as this post was more of finding out if anyone else had same problem and I will still continue to buy my stuff from them as iv never had but great service
