I think that most blades that come from blade manufacturers that have been making blades for a long time, will all fly well. Just as most top cars today drive well enough to satisfy most consumers.

But there are differences, some differences may be rather subtle, while others will be more obvious.

Fortunately, with the many adjustable parameters in the firmware of the current top brand FBL systems, most pilots will be able to get the response feel they want from almost any FBL blade/electronics combination.

IMHO, many times the important differences that will not be all that noticeable to the pilot, is the two I mentioned above - how hard the blades force the FBL electronics (including the servos) to work and how efficient the blades are in easing the workload of the power system through maneuvers.

Well, I was hoping to give an update on my experience of the new Radix 600 FBL but something went wrong during spoolup and my beautiful, brand new Curtis Youngbloods were demoloshed inside 15 seconds (along with several other major Trex 600 compnents)

Not a good day.

i have some bbt 553 to try but have not flown em yet poss at the weekend if the weather holds out although there wont be any 3d done as im not that good yet

I wish I knew The heli flew fine yesterday and today all I did was put my lovely new blades on .

I suspect that a servo connector came loose at the receiver but whatever it was the destruction of a brand new set of Radix is a painful waste .

I ordered all my fbl bits today so it should be ready by next weekend if I'm lucky and get some free time.

Will try the standard blades as I will be silly not to after all those telling me they work just as well.

Then go from there.
