    That exhaust looks great

Slight change of plan for my Innovator- I'll still get it to the club and stick the other blades on it, but the owner of the field I fly my 500 in in up the road had a really bad motorbike smash a few months ago and has been left a shadow of his former self and wants a new hobby I was up there today and he was really keen to give helis a go and it will really help his physical rehab. He was a massive strapping builder and now he is just a 6'5 skeleton and is getting very bored at home.

I'm going to make some training gear for the MD530 and set it up really soft then go and give him some lessons- there is potential for a total convert lol.
Synergy N5C with 3GX on the bench
Trex 500 ESP FBL BeastX -soooooooooo fast
Trex 700 LE Beast X'd and no sticky out bits
Velocity 90 BeastX FBL-the love affair has begun!

That sounds like a brilliant idea Alex and the Innovator as we both know is a terrific heli for a beginner. Hope he enjoys it as much as we both have

Let us know how he gets on

Great stuff Alex (got any foam blades), that will be 3 of us that Innovator has made a difference to!

Graham, the exhaust looks very good indeed. Did you know there is a socket already in the Inniovator that you can power lights from???

Yes I had read it somewhere, but to be honest I had never even given it a thought till I fitted this fuse and have never even bothered looking for it

Yes- I think I kept one pair of foam blades, so will dig those out tonight.

It does look very nice indeed! The only thing that does not 'fit' is that vertical tail......

                  Congratulations....

                        Thanks Sheryl

Looking at that I could be tempted to paint the skids black.

Wonder if I should paint the tail gearbox white. What do ya think?

Well it looks kinda right.... but it looks wrong - not explainting myself too well here. The rest of the helicopter looks so good, but the vertical fin looks out of place, it looks maybe too wide, and just like what it is, a plastic molding. I think that painting it would help....

Maybe I had better stop digging................

Well if it makes you feel better, I actually tend to agree with you. Was just hoping somebody would come up with a fix it suggestion.
I did ask at my local model shop to see if I could find a respectable acrylic colour match to the fuse highlights. But the nearest they had in stock just wasn't close enough for my liking.
There is a couple of other shops I can try though
