I believe he has his A so in fact, he is better qualified than me I will look up to him with you Danny

I will try to get an examiner sorted to get your A done mate

I really enjoyed my B stuff Tom. So much so that I do a bit almost every time out. Best thing I ever did. I'm so glad Mattie and Richie persuaded (bullied!) me into doing it. Looking at your flying vids you won't have any trouble mate.

For anyone thinking of taking it, myself and a few others have spent a couple of flights practicing it now, and I've got to say, it really does make you realise how rusty you can be despite the fact you can fly a little 3D. I have a whole new respect for F3C now that I never thought I would have.

Got to agree there Tom it seems easier to throw the heli around the sky than it is to do the basic manouvers in the b-test!

I think we will have to travel to find 2 examiners at the same place at the same time. Only need 1 for the A so that will be easier to sort out.

I hope so Pete, but one thing I have learnt is that 3D is not a pre-cursor to the B test. Look at TimmyB

                  Tom.

Your an excellent 3D pilot now.

You will be better when you pass your "B".

                  That's for certain.. Good luck.

It is not easy thats for sure, but then if it was it would be pointless, I have really enjoyed also learning the B test stuff, Really helps with all sorts of orientations because it makes you go ways that generally you might go the other way, if you know what i mean, i.e. you always favor one direction to do something.
And as i well know, in not passing first time, things can go against you and you can make **** ups.
I have worked hard on making sure the next time those ****-ups won't happen again, i spent half my holiday flights in corfu practising for my B test, is that right.....lol.
It does help to fly with someone who knows the test schedule well, i went into my test completely blind not knowing what the examiner wanted to see, that did not help and i had not practised stuff the right way as such, i know now though and can't use that as an excuse this time round

Hey Tom/Danny - Gaz keeps inviting over your way, so hopefully when I have a weekend free I can make it over for A tests, and B tests if youcan get another examiner there. Tom, can you make the funfly in cannock this weekend? If so, i'm sure craig and I will be able to take you for your B.
Also, I should have my Synergy N5 flying by the weekend, so you can have a go

I was lucky to see a few B tests at the Midland fun-fly a couple of weeks back James which has sparked my interest in this. To see the likes of Shay Kavanagh flying on the deck smackdown then transitioning to slow controlled flight (not without struggle I am sure Shay would agree) was very interesting. It is a different type of flying completely

Hi Grant, funnily enough I was looking at that as a possibility, however I am still unsure of the theory side of things and what exactly I should be reading?
