Why Do You Change Heli's?

A very valid point and I wish thats all it was. In the end I was running Align carbon paddles, Ely-Q extra hard dampers, shorter flybar, mixer arms set on the outside holes, QuickUK Seesaw, 2000rpm head speed and 8degs of cyclic with no expo. It's main problem was the extra weight it carries. We (Me and the guys at SMHC) did everything we could think of to speed her up. Possibly the SE would have been better.

Why a shorter flybar ?

That should make the flybar precess more slowly - giving a redced roll-rate. Which should be the reverse of what you want.

Interesting point on weight. It may well be where the weight's carried that's important - ie close to CoM is good.

I was trying everything I could think of. This post flybar - Page 1 - RunRyder RC Helicopter gave me a clue. The last quote makes the most sense. But as it goes it still didn't help LOL.
