The 8717's were ok, the bls 251 had every gear stripped but when I searched online for them I discovered the 3 plastic gears are same as 9251, 9253 and 9254 which I had so that is sorted now, my 5350mah lipo took about 4700mah to charge so I guess it was quite flat!
I think I'll go to fastlads om way to Scotland and pick bits up, Nige has offered to let me rob parts from his spare 700 but I feel bad doing that
