    Trev

Totally with you on that one Trev. I wouldn't give a rats arse at that time and place about my own welfare and would be more concerned about the person that the person I've injured is OK. That emergency services were called and then I'd apply any first aid if I was trained to do so or call out for anybody with it to assist.

Walking off from a scene of an accident is going to look much worst in the long run for you. Plus I just dunno how anybody could do it, as the way I think is would you want somebody to walk away from you if you were on the ground injured.

As it turns out the guy without the T-shirt called 911, applied pressure to the girls wound with his T-shirt and only left after she had been treated by the paramedics. I believe he was also the guy that told the police the name of the pilot that hit the girl.
Who knew fox news would tell a little white lie!

For more info read the thread over on helifreak, a donation plan has been set up and so far about $7000.00 dollars has been raised for the girl! Pretty impressive I thought.

It's a good thing actually that RC flying is already banned in that park because it paints the incident in the correct light, in that it is a case of a person behaving badly rather than a 'wake up call' to some new danger that a well-meaning politician will rush in to propose more restrictive laws for.

But my guess is that, at the very least, any US public spaces that allow RC flying will look at that and consider banning it. The little foamy flyers will probably be caught in the wake of it as well and lose some of their flying spaces, but that's the way of the world, the abusers end up shaping policy for all of us.

Flying in public parks is a very dangerous
game people are just so random and dont see
the pottential dangers of getting to close to
what they see is a toy helicopter.
It is the pilots responsibility to ensure they
adhere to the air navigation order in the uk.
I here ever day of people over here flying in
parks over people sun bathing and dog walking
it realy worries me that some people are stupid
enough to take these risks with our hobby
