Unlucky Nick, these things happen and i have seen alot worst

I crashed my blade like that on its maiden 13 months ago,the only difference being,it was set up properly and it was my dumb thumbs that maimed it

This time it wasnt set up properly and my dumb thumbs maimed it

9th crash now,4 mechanical,5 to the thumbs...its part of the hobby now

Your last "in" is one of the many stupid things I've done.

I'm up to 13 crashes, most dumb thumb, but a couple down to setup, and not checking properly before flying. I'm VERY careful now with my pre-flight checks.

Someone who we'll just call "Mr X" thought he'd reset the timer on my DX7 but had in fact re set the whole model back to the defaults after we'd done the pre flight checks so my 500 maiden lasted just a few seconds longer than yours!

Im OK now,Guy....shit happens....last time was £300 so this is a mere drop in the ocean,i got some SB's here that i got off a mate when he went FBL,unmarked and cost £45
