I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, if this is your first flight of a CP heli that is.

I think you might be right, I think I am going to chicken out until I can get some training gear.

i used the trainer gear for the first flight.. once i got it in the air. i didnt like the way it felt. my little heli seemed to oscillate.. keep in mind i didnt have a frame of reference as this was my first flight, my gut just told me that the heli would fly better without them.. so i decided to try it .. and never looked back

i would say though, training gear DOES give you some peace of mind, so there is nothing wrong with using them.. just strive to get them off as soon as you can, or they will become a barrier to your progression.
