Just changed to clean install of Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit on a new hard drive.
Struggling to find my way around with respect to e-mail and Internet settings.
I've found there is no e-mail client (was using Outlook Express) so cant migrate my contacts.
I have my previous Windows XP drive as a slave. Its only bootable if I re- cable internally but have limited access to files and hoped I could transfer files across or via memory card.
I have the wab.file from XP but cant import into W7. I even changed it to a .csv as W7 requires this format. I have it on the desktop on the W7 drive.
I also have my Favourites sitting but haven't a clue where/how to import into W7
Another Question..Both drives are bootable. Is it possible to use them alternatively meantime? If so what settings do I apply to my Bios? Both drives will I assume be called C Drive will that be a problem?
Once I'm done I will wipe the XP one for storage but would like to be able to copy Vid files etc across to W7 drive meantime
Ok am I better to add a e-mail program to replace Outlook? Not over keen on Windows Live/MSN whatever it is
