Hi Guys
A dear friend of mine who flies planks (yeah I know - but somebody has to, right?
) emailed me a few days ago having had a mid-air with a heli.
He was in a situation where he was forced to land just over the brow of a hill at his flying site. The heli he struck (a TREX is all he said) was in the hover and he hit it full on.
Being the kind of guy he is my mate offered to pay for any and all repairs and the heli pilot has hit him with a bill for about £850! TILT!
He "thinks" it might have been a T-rex 500. If so, unless the heli was totally destroyed (i.e. nothing is salvageable), the bill seems a little steep to me?
Your thoughts?
