we are discussing tomorrows video, apparently there are 51mph gusts, so we might do an 'extreme weather flying' video

We are too, lunch breaks are flying sessions, field opposite work, life's grand.

Tomorrow's extreme video has to be assessed as to whether it is safe on the day...If I can stand up without falling over, a video will probably be filmed

you can hook any packs up to it, just need to attach the relevant balance connector to the charge lead, five mins with a soldering iron . However kokams would be a good choice

Good test of the wind strength is to go for a nice high auto, maybe 1000 feet up and to allow some drift back a couple of 1000 feet up wind as well, if you still undershoot the landing spot it's probably a little too breezy:-)


I look forward to the video once you have found the poor model which will be a few fields downwind if the forecast is right.
Still looking ok for Sunday though!
