1000 feet up wind as well
That would be straight over the top of the IBM building then and possibly part of the A27.

We'd have to fly from the other end of the field that would give about 1000 feet.

Give Mike a ring, he hasn't updated his site with the new stuff but he has them. I spoke to him just before Xmas and I think they had just sold out of both packs and chargers so he may have new stuff in now.

While I am certainly not advocating flying over roads and buildings, if the winds that strong, even if the rotor head fell off there is no way it would drop on it.

                Cheers

If it's going to be that windy tomorrow, you might like to try slope soaring with your helis. Find a hill, stand at the bottom and auto down the slope. As far as I'm aware, my Scitar bladed Schluter Champion still holds the record with an 11 minute 34 second auto.

We got a good tree line that produces a ton of lift...fly it up there and put it in throttle hold

Best bring the wildthing along for a test fly too

Rappy50Luvver: 600L is GUTLESS, I've learnt to make it 'look' more powerful than it actually is. I'm sure Ash can recommend a cheap but better alternative, my fav's the Century 600+ so far (in terms of cheapness vs power/efficiency)...

Nice video-just d/loaded it to my psp to show my mates at work what a Trex 600 can do- seemed more FAI type aero's than the usual hyper 3d stuff- now just got to get mine built...........

Yeah, I used to do the 'messy' 3d style (Ade'll back me up here ), but I prefer the cleaner look of the larger moves. Been trying lately to clean things up. I expect a few stick banging moves will creep back in when I get away from this motor and to something with a bit more power...

i will have to learn to make it look good also for now, just getting the complete package from HKG and seeing what it will do,happy to just stooge it around for the time being until i get aquainted to the large leccy scene and batts performance etc increases

Just heard a weather warning on the news.
