  • A Few Shots

Just got back from the field. Chose not to fly today but took my camera down with me. Think I need to look at my AF system as a great many of the shots I took were not in focus. Think the AF fine tune needs checking.

Anyway, here's a few of the shots that were OK (but not great):

    Dave's 700LE:

    Rob's Raptor:

    Les' Raptor:

    Paul's 500:

    Mark's 600:

    Dave's 700LE again:

Thanks for your kind words guys.

I'm gonna check out my AF system later - really wasn't happy with my shots. I consider these to be the best of a bad bunch

Some very nice photos and good to see some Raptors rather than Trex etc.

Nor me until you mentioned it (and its my heli!)... It actually keeps the skids more centrally under the CoG though which is an advantage

Its been like that since 2004 when I built it but I might reverse the legs and see how it sits.

p.s. Martin it is Paul's T-Rex 500, I think he is PaulG on RCHA

It was quite windy with some very strong gusts... and finger numbing cold while flying I only had 1 flight and burnt 3/4 of a tank before the cold took its toll on the feeling in my fingers.

I know the feeling Its horrible.. Happened to me a few weeks ago, i was so cold i couldn't even think..

Can't believe the nice calm weather was over Christmas, and now with the chance to fly its turned horrible again..

Anyway, i'm keeping my batteries charged and most of my helis are ready for the the slightest chance so i can go flying

Lets just pray for a calm day..
