Have looked at the BMFA site ? lots of T600 should be able to knock down in price this time of year.

You could get a second hand Trex 600 sport for alot cheaper though mate,Then link I posted was the top of the range one,so may be a bit over the top for you.

              wrong

T-rex 600n is an ideal starter machine although the LE edition may be considered over kill for a beginner BUT you'd find that the Raptor 30 costs a LOT more to fix than the T-rex 600 and it comes with the right gear so NO upgrading required.

Be careful of 2nd hand route as there some bad deals out there and you'll find most of us have been caught out that way as well....

I fully agree with Mark! To me it makes sense to buy a better helicopter to begin with, and grow into it, rather than buy an 'ideal' beginners machine, and have to trade up later.

If I was doing it all again from the start I think I would go with the 600, and a new one as you know whats coming... i.e. no hidden issues etc

That said there are some very good 2nd hand helis (especially on this forum) so it might be worth holding out for a bargain otherwise factoring in the Tx and starting kit it can get expensive (not that it wont be anyway...)
