My heart tends to thump now and again, it does with alot of people, more stick time will make it easier like it has for me. Also never think of the worse situation if you crash it, its only a heli.
When hovering about 6 mtrs up and lower I always check and look at the skids to tell the orientation its helps ALOT.
As long as the skids are parallel I find I can keep it tidy, its difficult to describe though.

Using the skids confuses the hell out of me and I lose orientation. I rely more on the canopy and the black "screen".

I got 2 new questions for you please.
So first question do you lads bother about the wind and gusts with these helis or am i asking to much? they were pretty strong gusts.
It depends on direction of wind and the magnitude of the gusts, a bigger heli will be less upset by the gusts and if you think it's too strong to fly in it probably is.

        Thanks in advance

Don't worry about it too much, many take them off for backwards flight, but they do stabilize in forwards flight.
