  • What voltage regulator

    Hi all am building my outrage velocity and i want to use a lipo and regulator for flight pack.
    Which are the good ones to use , Don't want to spend fortunes but want something resonable, What is everybody using.

    Hi, I use the align with built in glow, works fine and had no problems.
    All the best STEVE.


    Raptor 50 Kasama head and tail gearbox, OS Hyper, AR 9000, align regulator with glow, csm 560 micro, DS620 on tail.

        I have been using these for some time now.

        Fast Lad Performance

        Double input leads from battery. Double output leads to RX. Set the output voltage and away you go.

            Align 2 in 1 works for me
            And that's the point. They all work else people wouldn't be using them. Fromeco, Duralite, Reactor X, ElyQ, FlightTech, Align, DualSky, etc.

            Choose how much you want to spend and what is your level of confidence in a particular manufacturer and go buy it.

                got one of those on my 700. works really well but only thing I dont like is the fact there is no Deans input.

                    Align 2 in 1

                    Light weight, good reg with the addition of the glow driver.

                      yeah the align 2 in 1 is a great regulator, could't comment on the others but align gets my vote

                        Using both the 8A flightech and the elyQ
                        I also will be using a spare flightech when i get round to building my velocity 50

                          I have the 8A flighttech set to 5.1V, came set to 6.0V as standard. The align unit is 6A and I wanted a little more overhead personally (I also have an on-board glow already).

                          I use cable ties to keep the plugs from the li-po in place, might well order up some of those clips though very nice solution to the requirement.
