Yes - easy! Just get two mono 3.5mm jacks (microphone etc) wire then up the same way and job done!

Heliguy and the lads from Newark - so if we go with the tutor, I'll be OK with my DX6i hooked up to his DX7? Assuming that's what he uses?

            Will a DX6i operate a 600 Nitro?

              Yeah im not too sure,

Because the dx7 is used for nitros because you need a channel for the governor.I think that the dx6i will be missing that channel.

              anyone???

Is it not possible to configure specific channels to allow the student Tx to control? i.e. you allow the student roll, pitch, collective, yaw and throttle but keep gyro and governor locally to the master? I believe this to be possible with the Futaba Tx's (certainly 9C and 10CG)

no specific channels cannot be configured on spektrum tx's.

but the slave only has use of pitch/throttle- rudder- airl- elev.

so as long as the master is a dx7(in this instance bound to a 600n with gov fitted) a dx6i can be used as a slave.

Im striggling to get this working.......DX7 set to p-link and the DX6i slave has all the same settings as the DX7 master. Without the lead plugged in the DX7 flashes "no trainee" then plug in the lead and the message dissapears....so I assume the master is seeing the slave....but I cannot get the slave to do anything...??

Does anyone have any knowledge or a link to a good guide.....

                    Thanx

When you say you can't get the slave to do anything is the master still controlling the heli? You do know you need to hold the trainer switch in the + position on the master right?

Also you may need to select an unprogrammed (no settings) heli model on the slave.

You don't need to switch the slave on, plugging the jack in should do that.

Other than that can't think what else could possibly be wrong.

And your DX6i isn't one of the ones with the faulty trainer jack is it? See here: http://www.rcheliaddict.co.uk/import...tml#post347293

                            Hi

You need to flick whatever switch you have set to be the slave enable, on the master.
Usually the left throttle trim or whatever its called.
