    I have huge admiration for these F3C guys, and I would probably rather watch F3C style aerobatics than wizz bang 3D - 'cos it is so eligant, and more like the sport helicopter flying I aspire to (ok I fly my helicopter like a plank... but that is more in keeping with full size flying).

      One other thing that not a lot of casual observers realise.....

      Because the schedule is flown "side on" to the pilots and judges, you have to be able to fly all the manoeuvres in EITHER direction, depending on the wind conditions.

      Its no good just being able to do it one way. If you want to get the top, you have to be able to do it either way, equally well, at the drop of a hat!
