Is there a list of BMFA examiners for fixed wing and helis available anywhere with their locations?

i.e. if I wanted to do a certificate, how would I find the nearest examiner?

Always in my shed if I can help it.

But my shed is in Haverhill, West Suffolk, about 20 miles from Cambridge.

That location should be covered by BMFA Area 1. Contact me by PM and I will give you the name and address of the local Scheme Coordinator.

Generally your local club will have one.

A Fixed wing Examiner can take you for your Helicopter 'A'

For your 'B' One examiner can be Fixed wing the lead should
be a Helicopter examiner or an Area Examiner can put you through
                  either.

That is not true, an ACE must be of the discipline relating to the test.

It's true, ACE is for the discipline that he / she is qualified in.

A's can be taken by any examiner, heli or plane.
B's can be taken by 1 ACE or 2 normal examiners providing one is qualified in the discipline. (I believe that's right, I always have an ACE present when I'm taking a B)

Okay my Orginal post did say the Lead should be a Helicopter Examiner
so I was kind of right just the ACE bit wrong
