      Pass your Heli 'B' wait 6 months then go for examiner then you will have one

        The reason I'm interested is because I'm considering doing fixed wing A and B and at least heli A, if not B as well.

        Like you say, then we'll be on the road to having an examiner.

        So who's local to CB9 postcode area?

            I'd love to be good enough for examiner but certain things are way out for me. So for now I'll settle on my BMFA 'A' then one day the 'B' then who knows where.

              Haverhill - small town in the South West corner of Suffolk, pretty much in the centre of these places.....

              19 miles from Cambridge, 18 miles from Bury St Edmunds, 16 miles from Newmarket and 15 miles from Saffron Walden.

                My shed is only about 30 min drive from yours ! after a bit of a break from flying regularly i'm starting to get back into it, in fact after the Sudbury club packed up. Doesn't look like much has changed apart from better spec and cheaper models, and of coarse the mass of electric powered models on the market, Just wondered do you fly in a club and where it is, like to come and have a look !
