Just bear in mind if you ever tip it over the carbon blades will transfer all the damage right into your head/shaft/frames/scale body.

Good woodys are great - big fan of em, flew into a fire exit the other day and trashed the main and tail blades and thats it, didnt even bend the main or feathering shaft, no boom strike. If i had had carbons on there willing to wager a whole lot more of the heli would have been trashed.

                Mike,

If you want to PM with your address I'll post you a set of "fibre glass" Hong Kong specials (FoC) which I use. Black and yellow..

Granted they are not the best but my Twister 3D storm flys more than great and I'm in no way bothered if I crash and break em as they aint expensive.....

                  Hi Mike

I am also looking for some. I get my blades from here:
eBay UK Shop - Seemmy999: RC Parts E-sky --, RC Parts T-rex, RC Blade

He sells the black and yellow ones Eddie is sending you, but also these:

                  4X 325mm carbon main Blade for 3DX-450 MDX450 MX 450 3D on eBay (end time 21-Aug-09 05:25:10 BST)

Got a couple of pairs on order. Will report back on quality.
Works out about £7/pair. Not bad value, if they are good.

I have a Belt-CP, which is similar to yours. You will probably find you need spacers in your blade holders.
All these blades seem to have thin roots. No biggie, just a couple of washers. If you get a choice, go for 3mm 'repair washers'. Bigger o/d compared with normal ones.

Don't worry about dealing with an Asian supplier. Bought loads from him, he is one of the good guys.

                  Hope this helps

                  Jeff

Can vouch for whirly's second ebay advert, these are the ones I use, they are very sturdy and are a good weight works out to £7.30 a pair or at least thats what I pay.
                          Nik.

                          Before you ask:

                          About 2 miles
                          Over £500
                          Very difficult
                          Over 80mph
NO, you can't have a go

Don't forget the 'Search' and 'Thanks' buttons.

                            Hi Mike

Will post impressions of carbon blades, when they arrive. Shouldn't be long now.
Flight tests may take a little longer. Seem to have entered the hurricane season here in Sarf London.
Intrigued by blades that came apart on you. Sounds serious.
Could you give us some more details?
                            Cheers
                            Jeff

I was going to make the same offer. I have used both carbon and glassfibre -both are at least 100% better than woodies.

Yep I have some spare as well which you can have but perhaps you do not need now.

PS carbon fibre is much too good for B400 but may be useful if you're going to do 3D stuff.

                              Cheers
