Aurora if you have the cash, quality is superb and flies like its on rails, love mine to bits and looks the dogs, but expect higher repair costs, not as high as the synergy though.
Trex 700 is also a superb heli and will always be my second choice.

once bitten twice shy on the 700
cheap spares don't make an economical heli

don't forget there are other 90's on the market
after i sold my 700 i looked at
aurora (out of stock at the time)
            blitz avro
            n9
vibe (i couldn't find one stock in the uk at the time)
freya evo (already got a non-evo freya)
            raptor 90 3d (already own a r60/90 conversion)
            vibe sg (not out)
            xcell

            and i bought a turbulence
            Hirobo Turbulence D3
            a bunch of bls servo's and a 701 gyro

Very heavy too if you are into 3d future forget it, if f3c style then would be a superb machine.

James and i both fly the Avant and it is for me the ultimate 90.

My first as well and when i weighed up the costs of putting one in the air the aurora... in the grand scheme of things was not that much more than a 700. backup service is second to none and you will have bought in to something a bit special.

Just my opinion and experience you understand

P.S took mine for a blast this evening and it rocked!!! happy days

Petey, my advice is go for the 700. All the other helis mentioned in this thread are fantastic machines but much more expensive not only to buy but also repair. I'm not convinced they fly any better than a 700 either. But if money is no object...................... get a Kasama!!
