Seems a bit much to lable a shop dubious and unreliable when you`ve never delt with them, don`t know anyone who`s had a problem with them, don`t know where they are and admit you know nothing about lipos. As for taking them back to a UK shop there`s a few people on here tried that and got no where.

I've bought 6 5000mAh 6S packs from Hobby King (Hobbycity) and delivery was very rapid, I bought in two batches and both arrived in 4 days. I've had one problem with one pack, a dead cell after two cycles and this has been sent back to Hobby King under warranty, it did cost £12 to send it back though. They have accepted the warranty claim and I'm awaiting a replacement.

The only down side to dealing with companies in Hong Kong is the cost to send items back under warranty, then again, I bought 4 packs for the price I paid for one Thunder Power pack which is knackered after only 60 cycles and it's never been abused, these cheap packs perform better and stay cooler. I'm not taking much of a risk as even if I only get 15 cycles out of each cheap pack it's cost me the same as the TP pack and I consider this very unlikely.

There are lots of rumours around RunRyder about Flightpower at the moment and their US operation, although Julian has hotly denied this, but the facts seem to point out that the premium cost packs from Flightpower & TP perform little or no better than packs now coming out of China at a much lower cost.

Just a quick update, Thanks to Hanger7 for pointing me towards a great battery, I took my heli and my FJ out last night and tested the new batts out, servo failure bought the heli down in the first 5 mins so couldnt test on that so threw the 2450 in my FJ and took it up.
I'm pleased to say that at full throttle the 1st battery lasted 7mins and 10 seconds (according to the timer) and when connected to the charger voltage was on 3.4v per cell.
My 2200mah usually gives me about 5-6 mins on heli for hovering and light 3d and about 4 mins in FJ.
Second battery was just as impressive and has 3.8v in each cell, I will no doubt be using this guy again and buying some more of the same batteries.
Anyone wanna buy some 2200mah to fund my new ones?
            Nik.
