Sorry Paul but I got a replacement FlightPower lipo swapped out after 10 month's use when it puffed up.

Still I would never buy another FlightPower lipo but their warranty is second to none I have to say..

This is correct, you have a warranty with the retailer and the manufacturer. To cut a long story short my Ford Focus purchased second hand from a Ford dealer developed corrosion around the tailgate handle which according to Ford is not covered by their corrosion warranty, the car was 3 years old at the time,2 years after i purchased it.The Ford dealer were not interested so a call to trading standards got them on the case FOC..

The outcome was Ford Motor Company took my car away to a main Ford bodyshop, left me a brand new Focus for 2 weeks while mine was repaired..

Oh,,all FOC.The reason being Trading standards proved the handle was not fit for purpose if it abraided the paint allowing corrosion. This was a known fault with Ghia models.

i'm sorry, i do believe i said kongpower, not maxpoly. my statement IS true.

if he wanted info on maxpoly i would have gave him your warranty. glad you stand behind what you sell.

tim, again i'm not doubting some companies swap out their packs but it's entirely dependant on the place you got it and the pack you bought. KP cells carry a 90 day warranty, anything more would be a goodwill gesture by the shop and or manufacturer.

on a similar note, i always see comments about 1 year warranty, trading standards etc. to my knowledge things that are open to misuse (batteries) do not even need to carry ANY warranty.

perhaps someone (andy linney) can comment on warranties on such things.

          cheers

As Paul says above I'm seriously unsure on warranty on batteries but any duff pack I've had from FP has been replaced by my LHS without any bullshit which is why I still use them whatever people say.

Many other packs may give slightly better power and may give fractionally longer life but most of those I need to post back and wait for an outcome...to be honest I'd rather buy FP and get a new pack when one fails

Suprised at this post, had nothing but excellent service from Revolution, and I know of packs that have been replaced by them no questions asked. Maybe it has something to do with the disty responsible for the Kongs, maybe a bad relationship??
