Just wanted to pass on my experience of Revolution Models!!
Since getting back into flying 8 months ago I have spent well over £2k in Revolution. First issue was with a Scorpion ESC purchased with a Rave 3D. Despite being faulty out of the box. they refused to do anything until the spoke to the Rep (not his problem They sold it to Me).
After 2 weeks and despite 5 phone calls. It was only when I went into the shop and complained anything was done. Surprise surprise they agreed it was faulty.
My latest issue with them concerns a Kong Power 6S lipo. I purchased 4 from them in December and one was showing errors on some charges. On returning it they said its normal and just give it a fast charge. Two weeks ago it started to get VERY HOT and blown so on returning it I was told they can't do anything with Lipo faults. This one had 24 cycles and is just 6 months old. Another blew 4 weeks ago and was destroyed as it looked like it was going to explode.
I was told Dave would call me if they could do anything two weeks no calls and Im not happy. Phoned yesterday and got a very rude woman on the phone who fobed me off again.
So I will not be going in the shop again for anything at all. No surprise retailers are hitting the wall with this lack of service. I have just taken great pleasure in speaking to trading standards and even more pleasure ordering my new Trex 700 from Fast Lads !!
I know they have been around for years but the service sucks. Take heed guys and purchase from a suplier that will look after you.
