Looking for the silver lining? ...well this might be a good time to suggest to the Mrs that you really need more than one heli so that you can still fly while fixing/maintaining/rebuilding the other.

Hope to hear you're back in the air soon.

Thanks, Pete. I think I might need a lawyer if I suggest another heli at this point. Bless her, she could see how upset I was, she just said "Don't worry, can you fix it? Better get the parts ordered then"

Sorry to hear your crash - who said "learning curve is flat"? We all have been through this "teenage" stage so you will get over it and be a better pilot for that.

It seems you have a very rare "One in a billion" wife and more to the point she is on your side - what else can I add - simply worship her, three times every day.

        Cheers

To help the financial pain & ease your sense of guilt.

POST THE GORY PHOTOS OF THE AFTERMATH.

Then I'll feel sorry for you.

Ouch! Brian! You did a good job there buddy!

I keep toying with buying an airbrush such that, when my canopy goes for a burton, I can patch it up inside and out with P38 (or similar) then do a natty paint job on it.

Mine needed patching with a new canopy.

Good to see you getting back in the saddle.

I've not flown for 2 weeks due to the demise of my club. Just been out in the garden for a 1 battery hover. Went fine - bit shaky but OK.
