I dont know personally, but i hear that the Raptor 90 is pretty good. If it follows the same reputation that the 30v2 has then it has to be a contender if you are sports flying.

I vote for a Raptor 90 too, glue the tail pin in and very reliable.

I know there old and heavy but so's an M5.........

Raptor would be a good machine, but then if you are going that route you might as well buy a 700.
Myself, had to push the Aurora button, after dialling mine in today it was absolutley superb

James, he said it must have NO issues, so thats the 700 out of the question...

Every heli has had issues at some point. My vote went to the Aurora.

im not anti 700, would have loved one from the crash cost point of view, but there was no way i was gonna buy all the time they were stripping main gears like they are going out of fashion, then theres the links going brittle and snapping in the cold, then the bearings that are terrible quality, shafts that corode far too quickly etc etc.

i can honestly say ive not had any issues with my N9 (the one i had last year suffered 2 or 3 massive electrical failures), but it has to be built right, its not like other helis ive owned which are just bolt together and go fly.

looking at what 90 to replace my troubled 700
i looked at the vibe, avro, n9, aurora, evo 90
                        and bought a turbulence
the raptor didn't come into it as i've already got one

the turbulence is a fantastic machine

but i will say the avro came very close to replace the 700, i saw a prototype avro just before it's launch and it's a great looking machine

Same with the aurora jamie, i took along time to put it together to make sure it was right and now after tweeking is absolutley fantastic.
Still love my 700 and is now what i class as my push to the limits heli 90 size, over stepped that mark today as i clipped the tail blades on the ground on side ways metronoms and stripped the tail gears and set down a bit heavy, but the ease of the 700 means it is nearly fixed waiting a couple of bits
