    Jamie.

In defence of the 700 I have 2 of them and fly them every week without fail.

I have had 1 main gear strip and zero problems of any kind in either.

PS: I have of course heard of others having problems but on a personal note it certainly gets my vote.

I will vouch that Tim takes no prisioners with his 700, the gears are not lasting because he just hovers it around, he pushes it hard.

I might just add that my 700 stripping gears problem has now totally gone. with the addition of a -1 gear.

No chip Nick, just owned both

Having said that as many are aware that I have had shed loads of problems with my Aurora. I dont buy into all this "what I have got is the best BS" and am the first to admit problems with my purchases.

The Avro doesnt seem to have any issues, why not go for that Disc

You have had a fair ammount of probs mate thats for sure, i had the same thing with my synergy but to be fair to it i maybe owned it to early and struggled to set it up properly, no such probs now and i expect i would find it easier if i did one again, the synergy is still one sexy looking machine though

my only concern on the Blitz Avro is that it is still very much a niche product, without a lot of pilots using them you are unlikely to uncover issues of ownership.
That's not to say it has any issues of course.

Well, can say I have had the Avro for 5 months now and have had no issues at all. Superb heli, great support from Blitz.

I don't know anyone flying one, in order to have some real ownership experience but I have to say, they really look sharp. I had a good look at them last year at 3D Masters and spoke with one of the tech guys and it is a really impressively engineered machine. It seems so well thought out and the linkages all seem very beefy and sturdy.

I like the servo shaft supports, that is a cool idea. And just the way it's all so cleanly laid out in general.

I just hope they sell well enough or otherwise have the backing to keep going and supporting the Avro. I don't know anything about the company but that would prob be my only concern.
