Can't fault the raptor series mate,
its good to learn to set up helis on the old mechanical swash first before progressing to ccpm, gives a better understanding as to how it all works to the beginner.
They are a little heavy compared with a few of the newer models but again this will make learning to progress a little easier as they are less twitchy.
Bits are cheap and readily available from the tinternet, a lot of 2nd hand spares for little cost too on fleabay.
I started on a 30 and still fly a 90, just love em!

      Proven airframe

      Can 3D or Scale

and you can get a good airframe cheap enough

Personally for a 1st airframe why not there's nothing to really watch out for unlike other models...

and just about every club can help you with it because there that common

      Couldn't agree more, well said

The Raptor is a nice heli, pretty old now but still pretty capable. I'm not sure how things are nationally but locally parts for the Vision 50 are a problem at the moment, a friend has been reduced to using Raptor 50 & Trex 600 parts to keep his in the air!

For a more versatile machine than the Raptor and cheaper to repair, the Trex 600 takes some beating.
