Hovered my CP2 side in for a complete pack and managed something vaguely like a figure 8 for the first time. Feeling quite chuffed but really must find somewhere to fly bigger than my garden.

.....to add to todays [meagre] success, I flew the A109 too and the mSR. It's been a long time since I could claim that all my helis flew on the same day.

Really good weather down here ALL day until around 7pm- then the heaven's opened up !!,, Took some of my "new born's" for their first proper flights today,

Total success,, not a glitch and apart from the airwolf canopy coming off on third flight( no damage All in all , a good day,,,roll on tomorrow !!!!!

Yes I am looking fwd to tomorrow, as it is my fav meet of the auto/bike year - the Supercar GT meet at Silverstone. Drool. drool!!!!!!!! And I might do some flying later.

Annoyed

Was doing some engine testing yesterday, trying to fathom out this TT Redline on my TRex 600. Landed as normal then the heli just flicked over onto its right side. I cut the engine and went over to investigate. I had managed to find a small length if thin gauge green garden wire, which wrapped itself around the tail rotor. Resultant damage to the tail drive gear and fwd umbrella gear which again need replacing. Fortunately the blades survived. Wish i could get some luck from somewhere.

Mike - that is real bad luck - how annoying you have to repair your heli due to a bit of debris. Glad there's not too many broken parts on the heli!

Will have to pop by one day and see your 600 in action.

Did on Sunday. Only my 4th day flying really. binned it last week rebuilt it in the week and hovered 3 packs at the weekend

Took my Rave out for 4 packs, getting used to it again as its been shelved for a few months while I have been flying the 250. Only got it back in the air sunday.

crashed the clone - main gear and main shaft - long grass helped

enjoyed the Gaui and the other 450 flights though appart from the tail whip on those inverted climb outs - trying a longer arm on the tail servo.
