4 flights then a mechanical failure so Im grounded now until I get a pitch slider. Attemped my first backwards inverted hurricane today, managed 2 sloppy go arounds then after that couldnt get round once.

I was going early then my parents phoned and asked to come down
then the old chap wanted to go
but once there it was to cold
Lots of very good people and every thing was a rush so didn't feel happy also had Stu Smith helping me ( thanks again Stu you are the Best )

Missed the ground quite a bit today and got everything back home in one piece.
In fact I actually took one of my helis out with no undercart and met mojo there with the spares, so I came home with my helis more complete than when I left!
Thats a first!

dodging rain showers I met Downdraft and another friend and we all managed a few flights today. all in all a good weekends flying

just a 2 min hover in the garden for me trying yet another new esc after programming the lowvolt cut off on the align 35A ESC. default was set to High volt cut off before and the rpm was pulsing in idle up - cheers for the heads up p4ddy, to program the lv cut off setting. Spose I should of read the instructions lol. 2 mins - not enough....need a good session of 4 lipos at least. waiting for xmas break to grab an hour or 2 on a clear day. Itching to practice some inverted on the 450. No time this time o year to get out there.

I didn't fly but I did run two helis. One to try a Hatori pipe on it see if I could find the source of an annoying rattling sound ('couldn't find anything I think it might be the bearings). The other is the Robbe Futura SS I bought really cheap on Ebay. After replacing the worn starting nut I just wanted to see how it runs and it seems to run fine, so far so good.

yup I went with my misses with my camera to get some pics of me with heli and some of me flying. Stupidly didnt check battery on big camera durr that was flat but luckily had my pixon 12 mobile phone but unfortunately used it on full zoom and the pictures are grainy as hell RUBBISH I did some of my lowest inverted flying on camera and the pictures are useless. But did do 3 tanks of great inverted flying and messing around.
I crashed my 450 pro on thursday but supprisingly It hasnt damaged my confidence at all but I think its beacause I know why I crashed (going to low with aileron tick tocks) LIVE N LEARN

i flew today.. and ended up bining a vibe 50 AND a trex 700 within a matter of.. ooh 30 minutes?

Yes! Finally! First time since the end of October.

I was on my own as usual. I ran 2 packs through my 500, absolutely great, the new paddles made a difference, and the nav lights were very visible.

I didn't try anything fancy, just side-in hovering, and a few very lazy 8s.

Than, half-way through my third pack, it started raining.

Still, shouldn't complain, at least I brought my heli back intact for a change.
