CMHC had another away day to the BMFA National Centre, Buckminster great place great company planks and helis along with plenty of banter! Sun shone (at times!) and everyone flew lots. Despite the breeze managed a couple of flights with my 500 size Scale Hughes and with the Synergy N5C😊 Several of us are now also flyinganks for the variety (see another post about people losing mojo!). Brilliant😇

I had a great day at sunny (but slightly breezy) MK.

I had three flights with the 600 and five with the 700, expecting rain at any time after midday but it held off until after I left at 1530 hrs.

I am trying part autos, bail out after about 4 seconds. It's a start.

It was good to watch a couple of my club fellows who you may see in F3N next year. D.O. was there, fabulous as ever.

I had a single flight today. Ended when I hit rescue on my heli. Rescue was working fine until I hit throttle hold by mistake.
It seems that rescue doesnt work without the main blades spinning lol

I learnt autos the opposite way. Started flicking hold whilst hovering with my 450. Then I started flying and hitting hold around 10ft up. Then one day I said to myself this is it, do it or crash it. Dam what a buzz that was when I flew high hit hold with a ton of forward speed. And being a 450 quite a lot of - pitch and touched down lovely. I can actually remember it as I type. The first time I done one with the logo it was like 'bloody hell, is this thing gona land or what?) Lol, they literally float down. The next step was auto's from any direction. Got that nailed but inverted 😨 still struggle with the transition to land on the sim quite often.

Had a few flights on Saturday with the 700l and 700N, really enjoying the N at the moment, much prefer it to the L. Had another canopy made up so now I have a matching pair.

Not flown that much lately my progress as stalled plus I CBA!

I wish I could justify the cost of TP lipo's. Trying them in my logo would be great. Yes my recent activity on the forum and looking at how nice your logo looks makes me want to drag mine from the loft and fly. Yep still an addict BUT I can't. I think it needs a small repair first anyway?? It may have a broken tail blade? Anyhow it will deffo need new lipos and my tx is no longer holding a charge for long enough. Batteries all round before I can fly again but not just yet.

I can't justify (to myself) the cost of TP lipos, or Opti etc. Turnigys and Zippys are becoming available again though.

had 3 flights on logo today I've been trying backward circuits one way, and managed to do the other way not so good then with a figure of eight to finish maybe it starting to click finally ,208 Flights new total.
