Mine is a 3S setup. 1300 mAh 25C/50C Optipower. I'm running a relatively low head speed (3400 rpm) but it is a stretch Oxy on 285 blades, so equivalent to around 3600 rpm on the stock 255 blades. As I said I consistently get 4:10 plus a good 20 seconds of landing time on top to leave just over 20% left. If I increase head speed to 3600 I then get around 4 mins dead for the same result. If I went 4S I'd expect 5 min flight times at these head speeds and my flying style. There has to be something wrong with your esc/motor/batteries/setup to be getting such short flying times - I reckon even Tareq would get those flight times!

I'm going to stop reading this thread. It's depressing.
Couldn't fly yesterday, because of the weather. Can't fly today, because of the weather. Won't be able to fly tomorrow, because of - yep - the weather.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.
What a glorious day it was today. Breezy but sunny all day. 5 flights on the 'Big Easy' and about 8 flights on the X50. Was out since 9:30 this morning. The only down side was that I forgot to take my hat and I now have a face like a baboon's ar$e.
Another 4 on the Oxy 3 this afternoon. The wind was up today, pushing my limit this time but all ended well. For a heli of only 650g RTF it does amazingly well in the wind and I was getting some serious speed runs downwind! So I decided to turn the session into a speed sport test which was a lot of fun
I should really finish building my G380, but the little OXY is so much fun I'm not in any hurry. Also can't be bothered to replace the dicky tail servo on my 180 CFX for the same reason.

I have the same experience when flying the Oxy in the wind, it's pretty impressive how well it handles it!

...and let the flying be second nature!
I am using SLS 40C packs at 3100rpm, more rpm is wasted energy for me. You can check a flying vid of my oxy in the previous page.
Nice smooth flying at 3100 rpm. I need a little more headspeed for comfort (3400 rpm) as my collective management is still not as good as it could be, but I do fly a similar smooth style except with less continuous 3D action and more big air sport.
