First maiden hover of x3 at the backgarden. Very stable even on 325 blades and 3s. At the end of the pack, torque tube slip, good thing it was just a few inches off the ground. Heli spun as no tail authority. No damage, but will have to take it apart tomorrow. Still working tonight on my 3rd consecutive 12hr shift.

Four flights on the X3 on 3s. Changed blades from 325 to 360 and added a few upgrades (cnc frame reinforcement; lynx boom clamp, white skids). Flies and as stable like a 500 but the only downside is like any other 450size helis, it is affected by the wind. Very agile though.

It was a bit too windy for me today. On my 3rd flight my 200 SR x flew straight up into the air and then seemed to just die. I'm not sure if it was me panicking and shutting down the throttle to stop it climbing or a fault, but either way it came crashing down from about 30'.
I remembered someone on here saying they didn't check properly after a crash once so i did luckily and found a broken servo. The 300c Hughes body survived ok with just a few minor repairs needed.
I brought a wind meter with me and it was gusting to about 10mph at ground level. I've learnt my lesson!
It was a lovely day though and i have a servo ready to go in! (another tip from a member on here!)
Can't wait to get back out i was doing the best flying yet with circuits and nose in hovering. And i like tinkering too!
Very impressed with the hughes body. tough enough for beginners i'd say.
What a strange wonderful hobby!

Rushed to the field after work to try and get the 550SX's maiden done with the NEO and V-Control but only got to have 2 poor flights. The wind was too strong to run the trim flight and optimisers. At least I got to grease the thumbs and try out the V-Control. Need to do some adjustments with the style and agility too. Lets hope the weekend is slightly less windy...

First time out for 3 weeks today, managed to get a couple of flights with my new to me Logo 550sx and a flight on the 700n, first one since the rebuild from the crash last time out. No dramas today all was good

Good day but had a shutdown on my 550 with a helijive 120. It was flashing 8 times anyone know what that means? Luckily I was able to pull out of the manoeuvre and in the end had s landing that was better than normal
