Did 6 packs through my new 130x at lunch. Started with gentle fig of 8's to get used to it and then worked on orientations (can't hover sideways facing left for toffee, in fact my nose in is better than both left and right side hovering!!) with some circles and reverse fig 8's. Did some untidy flips and stuck the heli in 4 times trying inverted hovering. Tail fin has a crack in it, canopy has a crack in the nose and the swash came apart twice but apart from that it bounced in the long grass quite wellTail has a twitch on it now so I guess one of the plastic gears is broken/bent so I'll change them to the metal ones. Might think of getting an upgraded swash if this one is going to keep on popping out.
Hopefully tomorrow's forecast of lighter winds will make trying inverted (my pitch timing is really terrible/ham fisted!!) hovering easier. Also need to find a larger space without trees and bushes as that does not help the confidence, amazing how trees attract helis....Neil

Had a great afternoon at the club today, flew all my 450 and 550 batteries without a single hiccupgetting more comfortable with inverted circuits now, still prefer left to right though so more right work is needed
Also after 18 months of pressure from the plankers among us I finally gave in and was handed the tx to a 200ft high Wot 4 and......
I actually quite enjoyed itgentle turns, a few loops and a couple rolls and I only worried the owner once when I went for a dive inverted
I took my 9 year old daughter along and by the end of the day she was being buddied on another Wot 4she loved it
Thanks Mike00Top you're a star
Also had a flight with my potential next purchase for an indoor flyer (mcpx bl) quite impressed I must say, flew just like my old v2 but with a chunk more powerDX8

Yes, proper final flybarred logo flight just practicing piro flips. I figured how to get the disc rolling away from me from inverted to upright so I just need to suss out getting the disc flipping towards me again & i'll be starting piro tic tocs different to how I do them on the sim. I also upped my rudd from 85% to 90% in the hope of maybe doing them side to side like on the sim but I couldn't do it as I think I need to up the rudd more.Yes the big sigpic is coming back

Had 3 flights with my Blade 450X, 3 flights on my new build from bits Trex 550FBL, both on MODE 2. Then 3 flights with my Hyperion Helios PLANK on MODE 1, which is the first time I have flown a PLANK or MODE 1 for over 2 years. No CRASHES.Been there and done that, but never stop learning.
Now too many Helis to mention?

With G4 spares being somewhere in a distant land of myth, the Ballistic is king... for now anyway.

Out again with the 130x at lunch so just 4 batteries through it...bit windy for it but good for the collective managementMuch more comfortable with circles in both directions (much better at clockwise than anti-clockwise) and nose in now. Will just keep hammering the basics until it's second nature and I'm comfortable in recovering it from all orientations so when I do get out of shape trying new moves I'll not be phased by the orientation. Did a few flips but wind was blowing it about all over the place (or was it my flying??!!) Put the Alu swash on as the stock plastic one came apart again (not because I crashed...) and put the Extreme green mains and tails on to aid visibility. Loving this little heli..........so far!!
