what a day, out at the field at 8.30ish ... 3 flights on the 450, all good, 3 flights on my Visionaire to calm it down a bit but the wind picked up so took the 550dfc out and had 4 flights on it, quick 2 flights with the fpv quad before I took the 700dfc out for another 5 flights ... damn, thats 17 flights in total in the brain pack today - amazing - and yes got the sun burn again

pretty good day for having a few flights before I fly out at 7pm again, isnt it

nearest met office observaions put the wind here at 24 gusting to 45mph - so calmer than earlier.

3 batteries thru the 450dfc.
I now need to change the bearings.
I've had about 25 flights but the head felt a litte loose. Only hovering but getting better

Nice flyin Mark, like the big half loop into inverted, very smooth lookin, great job. The orange Fin's stand out a treat, might shameless nick that for my own heli.

it was actually the tail hub sheared off Peter. was plenty tight enough! Im just miffed ive lost 1 tail blade and blade grips! Means i gotta buy more! Ive got a tail hub here!

I flew today, fantastic weather. Had an bullet connector fail on the esc EC3. Luckily it happened at the end of the flight 1m up so no damage. Bullet very hot, melted its way downwards, joining esc EC3 to lipo EC3. Had to cut wires to disconnect as no way to pull melted plugs apart
I'm guessing a bad solder joint, or corrosion. An hour of replacing EC3s on the ESC and the same on the lipo, and I'm good to go for tomorrow....

Just been over the field with the Logo. Had 3 good flights, sometimes it's nice to fly alone, not flown alone for a while so not used to no distractions and p**$ taking.

Returned home to find the postie knocking at my door with all my 450 spares :-) logo packs on charge now so let the 450 rebuild commence. Do not disturb. It's gonna be a good day
