2 batteries on my 130x .wind was whipping it up.
the whole time i had my mum on loud speak chatting away on the phone lol.

Didn't last long, tail servo is dead on the 130x. UPGRADE! 300x had a mind of it's own resulting in it meeting the ground. FL order coming up!

Went to the field with my newly repaired and setup 450pro (replaced one of swash servos) but the heli felt a bit unsteady in the air. Perhaps it's battery because of cold, perhaps feathering shaft untrue, perhaps something else. Anyway, landed it after literaly 15 seconds in the air. And then hear this hateful sound rgrrtrrrtrrrrtrrr .... tt gear to replace, again! And it was really gentle landing, just not close enough to see the grass well

And it was first time in the air in the whole month.

I didn't think i would be flying for at least 6 weeks due to the fact that i can only see from one eye.After 15yrs the guys at moorfields have decided to fix an implant to the rear of my Iris so the lenses i have been wearing had to go, but weather i was just being brave or just stupid i flew the 130x and i must admit I was a bit nervous so kept it close and well under control .Well chuffed and after three flights its still in one piece :-)

I found on with the 410 servo's if I changed out 1 servo it would take off sideways.

After stripping tt gears on a twig I changed skids and vert fin for a 500 no worries now.

enjoyed myself today ... took the 550 out as I wanted to try aileron rolls, well first flight was too easy - so I took it further, aileron roll, inverted, inverted pirouettes, up and down ... nice ... smiled all across my face if I hadnt had ears I probably would have smiled in circles

then a few flights later the usual, when you enjoy yourself you probably take it too fare ... shown how good I was progressing to a fellow pilot, my timer went off, ah bugger, let go, one more ... roll, inverted, lower, dipped, DAMN ... I can still hear myself saying: cmon just level it .. ups too low ...

after yesterday where it was having a sun bath

interestingly the tails blades didnt even had a single chip on them ...

side note: WTF@ALIGN - where is the canopy supplies for this one?? even third parties have them ready and shipped ...

Ever since I upgraded the vBars on my L500 and trex 450 to 5.3.4 they've developed a weird tail wag that I just can't get rid of. Crashing them both shortly after doing the upgrades (one, my fault the other loose motor spindle) hasn't helped much either. 2 batteries on the L500 to check stuff yesterday and 1/2 a battery today on a very dodgy flying 450. something is definitely wrong. Need to take a sledgeha... good look at them and check everything is good mechanically.
