Fortunately where its positioned it is almost in line with the main shaft, so didnt do too much to the CoG...

And yes, another good days flying at Beaulieu Shame the weather isnt up to it today, its not too windy, but worse than yesterday and the light is horrible low contrast vanilla sky stuff. Great for soft stills photography, awful for flying in

Had a good session this afternoon
3 flights with the 130x and some grass trimming without incident and three good flights with the 450 almost grass trimming, I managed to get rid of the vibes I had and have upped the gain on the beastx loads now and it is flying awesome I'll never sell this Heli
Very happy with today and my mate video'd a bit of my flight so hopefully I'll get this uploaded soon

7 lipos ran though the 500, need to get a full size servo on the tail like a 650, im going to have to mod it but its gotta be done I had a horibble 90 degree tail blowout on a backwards loop today. Good little session though after the wind finally went

Yep and wish I hadn't, perfectly good pair of underpants ruined ! 450 into a loop and out of order, followed by unscheduled lunacy till back into some semblance of control, followed by a funny smell.Yeuch !

Couldn't get out with the 450 today So i put 6 packs through the 130x ripping it around the garden
Managed to tick tock into a hedge, No harm done

held an inverted hover nice and low over the patio for a good 2 mins without my brain turning to mush

and a few inverted circuits about 50 foot up i'm happy with that

Had 2 flights with my 700 and 2 with the Nano at lunchtime today.....what a contrast! Just glad to finally get some half reasonable flying weather for a change.

Yea 318i. All sorted, his insurance rang today & said i can take it to Scotthall BMW body shop & they'll have a courtesy car waiting for me.

Well they've written it off. Needs a new boot, new rear bumper new bar thingy (bit under the boot) then respray both rear 1/4 pannels £2300. Insurance has offered me £1500 & they keep the car or £1245 & i keep it. I tried for £2k but no chance. The 2nd hand price of BMW's has hit rock bottom so i would have only just got £1200 if i'd sold it (before the crash). I'm gutted, the damage doesn't look too bad but to me it stands out like flybarred logo amongst all them sheep So i have money to complete the slabby nowa



No i didn't fly today & no i ain't buying a new heli....I could buy a mikado 600 deal OR Trex 700e from fast-lads???? Naaaah BIKE BIKE BIKE!!!

Managed to get a couple of hours this morning with the new 700n DFC. so glad i put another YS120 in it. Kicks ass!!

I had to test fly a velocity N2 for a club mate after changing the engine bearings etc so popped up at 2pm after work. Now I haven't flown for over a month but it all came back to me & the velocity N2 flies nice aswell

Wangled a few days off work so headed out at mid day and didn't leave until it was dark. Flew my Velocity 90, Synergy N5C, Rex 500 DFC and an EDF F-16...

Brilliant sunshine, hardly any wind and warm. Not bad for November. Tested the new super cheap Turnigy 3S 25C lipo. Very good value, about as good as the Tipples were two years ago.
