Nothing lines up any more & the boot over laps the body where it's suppose to sit inline with an even gap. It's perfectly driveable but it's screwed my whole day up. It's going to cost a fortune having it repaired at Scothall. I wont let his insurance send it to a non BMW specialist as i had massive issues with a Suzuki body shop repairing my Audio spraying it a shade of metalic purple instead of a blue/green & with huge runs & sags so i got an Audi specialist to correct it at their expense. Oh & it felt like a lorry went into the back of me because of the size & weight of the Volvo.
What a bloody nightmare mate. You haven't had much luck recently. Hope it gets sorted.

Had one tank with the Rappy with its new fg blades, all feels good
Then one flight with the 130x

The 130 felt absolutely mental after the Rappy

              • i flew my 450 for he first time properly today it mostly was doing an impression of a leafe shredder 15 minutes of hopping round one of the woodies broke

but still i kinda managed it
                yay me

there is one Question tho. taking off. any one give me a reason why if i gently powr up , gingerly id even say. the heli at a certain point decides to wobble over, like its on a wire and its going to fall off either side , and you have to use the right stick alot to get it straight. is this normal or should i stick 3/4 power on straight away.
im going back to my beer

                • Just been for a dusk flight in the descending fog over some waterlogged fields in a valley. Heli looked awesome as it flew by with the LEDs glowing (receiver, 3GX, TM1000, satellite, BEC). Finished my last pack just as the light faded.

                    • Did YOU fly today??

I had a good session today
Went to the cc and had a few 130 and 450 flights, it was pretty gusty and both were getting beaten up a bit,

So I saved the rest of my batteries and went to the local park on the way home which is much more sheltered from the wind and made some good progress with inverted circuits and even got the 450 inverted down to within a foot of the deck

                      • Well the Turnigy mitt earned its keep today. I was out there at 9am with 7mph winds, 5°C and sunshine. Hands warm as toast. Had the Rappy beater up in the air for about 45mins.......brilliant.

                        • Arrived at Beaulieu after a 30 minute drive to find that both of the grub screws from the washout alignment collar were missing in action... Im not sure when it happened, but im guessing at some point during my last flight which is a little scary....

So was about to pack up, as didnt have any with me, when I remembered that the flybar paddles have two, one on either side, and are the same size.

So, out with one from each of the flybar paddles, and the collar was locked again, not before I managed to snap the hex driver bit tightening the first, fortunately had an allen key with me also....

So.... right when I was thinking I should probably just pack up and go home given my luck, another guy turns up, so I give it a go....

1st flight, trim way off... I wonder if those grub screws were even in for the trimming flight?...

2nd flight, all trimmed now, but managed to do most of the flight with the glow starter still attached...

3rd, 4th and 5th flights, and im back to nice sports flying, a few loops, rolls and loads of stall turns...

By the 4th and 5th I wasnt shaking, and my confidence has returned

Back again first thing tomorrow morning before the weather runs out...

                          • jimmyhorns you was lucky there son, you wouldn't have got away so lucky with a glow plug lead and 12 v battery hanging off though !

Went out today and down came the wet stuff two minutes after I got to the field-BU**ER ! Sudden lull comes so gets out there quick and up goes the 450, coupla piro stall turns into the usual and down comes the rain again, standing there thinking HeliAddict or HeliIdiot ? Gotta be "Idiot" huh ? Never mind got one in didn't I.

It was a tempting morning but I go by the wind and if it starts developing I wait to see if the rain follows.
