unsure about the color scheme ... gets too dark for me in distance, when turning it nose in its almost a black spot ... especially in the light conditions to come ... today was sunny and in flyby's its ok but when I had it like 30-50m side on it was nearly pitch black ...

I might consider a custom canopy for it ... but at the moment this definitely is the only down side of the model for me ... maybe I just need to get used to it, getting away from my align lightning canopies ... apart from this as I said awesome machine ... really like it ...

I was going to but right now i can't be arsed to go down the field. I need to be getting my bike head back on for a while like Worzel Gummidge lol. I'm more of a weekday after work flier than weekends as it's just more convenient

3 on the 550 today messing around with precomp. Also maidened the logo today was cut short because the tail belt shredded So only 2 flights on that. The thing is so smooth though can see why people like 'em!

Had a couple of nice flights today with my Rave and its new replacement ice2 120 hv esc and have got the agility on the vbar just right for me, governor working well even with the gain really low. I can piroflip all over the sky now lol I just wish I could get them more stationary and lower but heli still in one piece so a good day.

I've had the best days flying of the year today. Took my Sky Surfer (fixed wing), Nano and MCPx up the field. The weather was just spot on perfect. Not a cloud in the sky, mild, the odd gust for the plank fading off to no wind later in the afternoon. Only 3 of us there so able to fly constantly.

After 2 batteries on the plank (which is more or less a powered glider) I had a go with the Nano. With the confidence of being over grass I very quickly found I could get it inverted on demand pretty easily and more to the point, hold it there then put it back the right way again. A couple batteries later and I was happily hovering inverted for as long as I wanted and basically doing everything I can do on the sim. Great little bird.

Then the other chap I was with said "bet you can do that with the MCPx now too". I was thinking not as the MCPx was just impossible for me to get inverted before but blow me, first battery on the MCPx and I was doing it all with that as well.

Don't know what, but something just clicked today!!! Well chuffed

The other chap was asking me stuff like "is it like when you're hovering nose in when you're upside down?" and honestly I couldn't tell you, I wasn't thinking, I was just doing!!!

Sorry, but very excited. Makes a change after all the crashes over the last 12 months!!

Flown about a hour today, with the most throw available on my MCX2 it can fly outside in no wind/ a very light breeze like today!

Been out today......what a great day and for flying. Got through nearly 5 tanks and had a long chat with my farmer. No wind at first though it did develop a little, cool at first but it rose to 10°, and some nice subdued sunshine. Brill.

3 batteries through the 450 after work...working on orientations, circles and slow piros all in the space of 1/2 a tennis court to try to keep the control good...charging up in the hope of more tomorrow
