Dead 500 ESP

This little baby will be winging its way to someone on here very shortly. Just waiting for his new servo to arrive then ill setup on TX and send it out. Hopefully it'll put a smile back on his face... mine always does when i fly mine New TT added which i like the look of so will be purchasing one for mine soon (my philosophy has always been dont change something if its already working well). Think ill contradict myself on that one though as it does make the model look a little nicer Also added a raptor flybar (as you can see in pic). I like the look of the new align blades he purchased which have a tint of blue in the carbon section. Well just thought id share so that he gets a little teaser and also seeing you guys are enjoying yours so much. There great little machines so keep flying them guys

Heres my little uns... ive just added a 1400kv scorpion motor and some new yellow skids and metal canopy mounting posts. Looking forward to flying it again real soon.

Decked my 500 ESP the other week and the repair bill was similar! On the next flight one of the ball links came detached from the mixing arm, managed to auto it down but the detached mixing arm must have hit the swash damaging the swash and thrashing the arm so that was another few quid!!!

However, love flying the 500.

for those who don't know I suffered a serious malfunction with my 500 a couple of months back, luckily the front end was untouched, the boom, tail servo & shafts were another story.

My 500 now looks better then she ever has, back to brand spanking new condition, only this time Lee's been over her with a microscope and set her up perfectly, with a few added upgraded parts as well.

Fantastic to fly and gets the heart beating when hovering it down low - bit like a heli!!

Well, Had to buy the Main Auto gear as well, as the bottom jesus bolt must have had a slight bend in it One hacksaw job later and its done!

So just need to replace feathering shaft, Pitch control link ball end, Landing skid and check Blade Pitch and shes ready

Checked the Swash level and it was spot on without needing adjustment

Sevo gears replaced and greased, rudder servo endpoint also need redoing but other than that sorted!!!

Ordered a replacement main gear center assembly with the metal parts just on the off chance for next time
