Dead 500 ESP

OK so binned the 500 ESP while having a ball at Kinross

Was getting used to lazy 8's and fast forward flight. Funny thing was it was at the easy bit I lost it. Lost orientation with a flash of sun in lense of sunglasses while hovering tail in lol!!!!!

Still thats the fun of helis! Ive got the parts ordered from fast lads as follows...

So most of that comes 2 in a pack and will do for the next time. All I forgot was the landing skid set

So the parts will be here for Tuesday and I can fly the 600 untill then and have both back in the air next week

Have to say I'm loving the 500, Nice machine to fly and she want you to try stuff with her . really helps develop skills

OLuch.. if its any consolation i kissed the ground with my 600 last weekend and the damage was less but the bill was more!!

The ESP is my favourite heli at the mo and it flies soooo well.

Sure you will have the heli back up soon mate... Think about going for some radix blades to chear you up and add a change to your re build. The 500 loves them and they are just a tad softer than the Aligns so a little mor forgiving with the tight set up the heli has... they look sweeeet on it too mate

Its cool. Like I say, Its all ordered and will be here Tuesday, I reckon Friday and Saturday are worst days to bin it as you cant get parts till tuesday lol. unless you live next door to one of the big shops etc.

I definitaly think my 500 is the favourite at the minute

Oh and seeign as I have not crashed in 3 months its not bad going

I could of been in the same situation tommorow,due to a dodgy DX6i,luckily i spotted the problem while having a quick battery in the garden on my blade.

If my 500 got smashed up cos of a dodgy TX i would of cried for months

Just one of those things, Thing is I can see myself getting better. So Its not a problem. Still the only nippy bit will be replacing the servos gears. Means more work lol.

If you fly you dont have to crash but sometimes it happens

Still loving it though! Cant wait to get to field with 600 tommorrow or Sunday

I know how you was feeling when it happened as the same thing happened to me couple months ago I rebuilt her then started flying her like a beginner again untill I built up more confidence, now I like flying her high keeping the orientation by looking at the screen part of the canopy & manage some awesome stunts.

I have the belt CP flying now after I worked out some of my mistakes

Seems to fly well but ive not tried any more than hovering 1ft off the ground so far. I will fly again tomorrow somewhere that has more space.

Stop toting up repair bills as that kicks you down a peg !

Flew the 250 for Brian to film and the 600 As for the repair bill it does not affect my confidence at all lol.

It was not binned doing anything new just a daft one with sunshine and orientation. I'll survive. The bits will be here Tuesday and flying next weekend if I get time to fit them

Main thing is I was having a real good time moving heli around.
