Been waiting for an item from eBay for a while. It was delayed partly because I paid via cheque and it tooks a while for the guy to get it and then even longer to clear 
So in the end the guy has his money and I should get my stuff...Nope!! So I ring him and ask what is going on and he says it's going out to you 24hr del on the 30/3/09 via TNT. OK I think no problem
Still not here today so I chase him up and he gives me the tracking no and it shows:

I phone TNT with the tracking no at 6pm today and they tell me the driver has tried to deliver it twice in 2 days but no one was here...BOLLOCKS!!! I was here at the time given yesterday as was my wife and 2 kids and today my wife and 2 kids were here No card was put through the door, nothing at all I then persue this with TNT and they say they can't tell me any more as the contract is actually with Interparcel not them and give me a number which I can't phone until 9am tomorrow
Now theoretically if and when it finally does arrive they have failed to deliver inside the 24hr contract so myself or the sender should be able to make some sort of claim against them but how the f*** do you prove it?
It also appears after speaking to the sender that they picked up the package a day late as is shown on the above tracking
